åtrå is the sound and light project of Amber Burch, a composer, DJ and multidisciplinary artist working across composition, audiovisual performance and installation.

Rooted in a lifelong relationship to rhythm and resonance, her practice explores how sound, light and space shape perception, emotion and presence. Drawing on Schumann resonance, psychoacoustic entrainment and harmonic translations of planetary frequencies, she investigates the relationship between natural frequencies and the body, creating multisensory experiences that invite awe and embodied awareness.

Her live sound installations extend into ceremonial and contemplative settings, in celebration and reverence for the liminal. Together with her engagement with music from around the world, these experiences inform her understanding of sound as a communal and transformative force.

Through her evolving practice, Burch seeks to restore listening as a vital act of connection: between body and mind, human and environment, the material and the unseen. Her installations and performances invite states of attunement in which sound becomes something to inhabit: a vibrational field that reawakens our sense of belonging to the Earth, the cosmos and one another.
